By: Abby (Abigail) Burd, MSW, LCSW, LCS26867

Health Services was proud to host Maria Elena Greeman-Lynde (Morales) of Breaking Down Barriers for a personal account of recovery. Maria Elena is a blogger at Homegirlz del Corazon and works as an outreach worker for the Mobile Crisis Response Team. Many thanks to Breaking Down Barriers, a community service of Jewish Family Services, and the County of San Diego Live Well for providing this excellent speaker! This presentation is intended for adults and contains adult language as well as serious topics including assault, abuse, and addiction, as well as hope and recovery.

If you are interested in support for your recovery, consider attending our recovery support group. We welcome MiraCosta students at any stage of looking at any addiction(s).
