Apply NOW to be a Peer Educator in Spring 2022!

  The Spring 2022 Peer Educator application is now open!   Location: On campus (virtual meetings; activity options include on-campus service, synchronous online events, and asynchronous projects)  Time Commitment: 15 to 30* hours/semester (option for more if desired) *15 hours is the minimum, 30 hours required by some classes, including the social work certificate. Ideal Students: Interested in exploring a career in mental health, social work, and related professions. Interested in supporting the MiraCosta College student body. Passionate about reducing stigma around seeking help.  Target Enrollment: 8-10 new students.   Representative Duties/Projects: Reducing stigma around mental health on campus through classroom presentations, outreach, events, college hour, and social media campaigns, including videos and takeovers.
